A Brief Update (in Japan)...

With another 2 weeks under our belt in Osaka, we are hitting our stride. Another full week at Takatsuki campus has made us realize how lucky the community is to have such a warm body of believers in their midst. Each staff member truly exemplifies a selflessness that reaches deep into people around them. Our time in Takatsuki has given us a chance to meet many wonderful people, which I’m sure will play into our time here in Japan. Cooking for them as well as the community, has truly been our pleasure as well. Though we won’t be staying at the campus for the remainder of the trip, we will continue to serve Takatsuki every available Wednesday night, and possibly for their YWAM Japan Leaders conference in June.
For now we are taking a few weeks to get the lay of the land. My parents have flown in all the way from California to help as soon as we’re ready to plan and enact alongside Johnson and Cierra.

Until then, we are spending some much needed family time together in the big city, visiting nearby places like Dontonbori and Osaka Castle. However, with the Trans only days away now, we are looking forward to switching gears soon, pressing deeper into the Lord's calling on their new lives in Ibiraki and the surrounding areas.
